AIMtv – Privacy Policy

“AIMtv” is operated by Australian International Multicultural Association Incorporated (ABN 53 496 604 146), an active other incorporated entity registered with the ACNC. Main business location: NSW 2214. GST registered from 1 July 2024. Contact: info@aimassociation.org.au.

2) The information we collect

  • Contact & account info: name, email, phone, organisation, role, preferred language.
  • Service interactions: reminder subscriptions, enquiries, complaints, call-back requests.
  • Audience participation: live Q&A submissions, polls/votes, competition entries.
  • Creator/partner accounts: registration details, submissions, scheduling/airtime data.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, general location (from IP), session logs, cookies.
  • Sponsorship/advertiser enquiries: contact info and campaign preferences.

3) How we collect information

  • Directly from you: when you register, set reminders, submit content, or contact us.
  • Automatically: via cookies/pixels when you use our site.
  • From partners: where a community channel shares info for program operations.

4) Why we use information

We use your information to operate AIMtv services, provide support, run features (polls, Q&A, competitions), manage sponsorships, ensure security, and meet legal obligations.

5) Disclosure to third parties

  • Service providers (e.g., streaming/CDN, analytics, hosting, security, email/SMS reminders).
  • Community channels/partners (only what’s necessary for a specific show, under safeguards).
  • Regulators, law enforcement, or legal advisers when required by law or to protect rights/safety.
  • Successors/affiliates in case of a reorganisation or transfer.

We do not sell personal information.

6) Overseas disclosures

Some infrastructure or providers may be located outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure recipients protect information in a way substantially similar to the Australian Privacy Principles (e.g., contractual safeguards).

Our site may link to third-party websites, apps, or channel pages. Their privacy practices are their own; we recommend reviewing their privacy notices.
